Obedience Training

Simply said, it is whatever bad behavior that you as a dog owner allow and is tolerated by you that is what your dog learns as 'acceptable' for them to do. Whether that be uncontrolled barking, jumping upon people, sniffing people, chewing on your furniture or whatever the bad behavior, your dog will continue to do that which is allowed by you. Unless corrected at the beginning, whatever inappropriate behavior that you do not stop will be considered O.K. for your dog to do. Dogs, in general, are pack animals. They need a leader to follow. If you as a dog owner do not lead them and provide them with the correct training, they by their own nature will become the pack leader and they will view you as the lower member of their pack and you will lose control of your dog and their behavior.
